Her work reminds me a little of Grandma Moses. I liked that style, although it isn't at all what I attempt. I'm working on a watercolor technique with acrylics that is more realistic, but still very "loose". Fun to experiment.

The snow scene and Ken's reference to Grandma Moses reminded me of what she said when it was suggested she should add blue when painting snow. She said, "I have looked at the snow and looked at the snow, and I can see no blue."
