i meant a multipolar world that will soon enough be will make it less than astute for any power to act as if it is the only power; thus tamed, some nations will stop acting beyond its capability, minus a sure backer, thus leaving all small powers to sort out as each can, without being able to count on help ... folks, in such a circumstance, will fight, get exhausted, and disappear, or negotiate and settle, and either way, the world will be saved
