Don, I think when the USA cuts and runs [sooner rather than later, and probably within King George II's term, contrary to his macho posturing], there will be substantial civil war as various factions fight for power at the point of a gun. There is already a fair bit of conflict and that's while the USA is providing a lot of force on the side of the current government. When that force is removed, countervailing forces will achieve a lot more.

So, those who die as a result will live briefly and start thinking that maybe it was better with the USA there to keep things reasonably steady and them alive.

It's easy to talk tough until things go badly wrong. It's no skin off anyone's nose right now to say "Yeah, damn straight, Yankee go home!! We'll deal with it ourselves."
