I'm convinced that the Arab world lives in an alternate universe. They wouldn't know reality if it bit them in the ass.

They thought Hezbollah won in southern Lebanon too.

Hizbollah did win in lebanon. Israel left, Hizbollah has more missiles than they started with, Israel came away in expectation of the terms of cease fire negotiated by the French and Americans. The Lebanese and the French were cancelling the terms even as the evacuation started and no one said a word. The UN and the United States were a party to negotiating the complete defeat of Israel in it's war against Hizbollah. In doing so the French and Islam once again made a fool out of the Americans. Both sides laughed at the Cease fire the Americans were forcing on Israel, because the Americans believe that other countries tell the truth. Now Israel will fight the war again, only this time, the US will find that Israel won't answer the phone until the war is over. Israel will with any luck learn that America is only it's friend when there is peace. That is a lesson every country needs to learn.

Muhajer said the group was launching a new "all-out offensive ... to uproot the infidels and the apostates," from Iraq, in reference to the US-led coalition forces and their supporters among the Iraqis.
