Check out icebergs that fall off glaciers and float away. Fresh surfaces are the most beautiful blue you can imagine. It's in the water.

Glacial ice is extremely compact, with no air bubbles. That's why it looks so purely blue.

I can't understand why Rie Munoz would say such a thing. Under certain light, snow casts blue shades all the way from baby blue to medium dark purple.
