"As for getting some balls, I am steadily getting ready for the war I think you are about to cause."

Are you practicing in camo, helmeted with a flak vest on, walkie talkies in hand and sporting an M-16? Do you think paintball games simulate real firefights?

In a real war the greatest weapon is your brain. A good brain combined with the ability to think under fire and the will to make the move that offers the best odds, even when you think you'll get killed doing it, are the essential tools of those who have a decent chance to survive.

Of course those with the biggest brains usually figure out ways to survive without having to shoot their way to the top. But you probably aren't in either of the big brained groups.

Where do you live? In the event of a real war I might want to stop by and pick up your supplies of food and ammunition. You'll undoubtedly have been long since been eliminated and you won't need them. Ed

"Other than that the US lost to Iran under carter, Cuba under every president since Kennedy, Iraq under Bush I, and in viet Nam and Korea."

You do know what "wars" ARE, don't you Itchy? We haven't had a "war" with Iran or Cuba. We WON Gulf War I, and drove Saddam out of Kuwait. Korea was at least draw, not a loss, as South Korea is till there.

As for winning the current war in Iraq, what does "winning" look like to YOU? If we end up with an Iran-allied government that hates the US and Israel, but it's democratically elected, that costs us hundreds of thousands of lives and a trillion dollars, will we have "won"?

I felt that reason had won against monkey chest-thumping when we walked away from Vietnam. History has proved me right. Leaving that mistaken war behind was a VICTORY for America.
