Islam is a meme which was well suited for the time and place it arose in, pre-Renaissance, pre-Enlightenment, pre-democracy, pre-modernity. It flourishes through autocracy and conformity. Independent thought is punished. Whatever novel was invented by Muslims circa the Middle Ages, as they exchanged ideas with the Christians, Hindus and Chinese they came in contact with, those days are long gone. Of the bottom twenty countries in literacy rate, it's no accident that twelve are majority Muslim. By the way Ichy, all we are talking today leads me to believe that one day this war will be determined with nukes. The "white folks countries" will get together and collectively destroy those dudes because we lacked the will to check them earlier but will not allow ourselves to be overrun by their crazies. Now does the neutron bomb leave oil fields intact? How quickly will radiation abate so Filipino workers can be imported to get the oil? Perhaps we are creating robots to do this work as we speak.
