I'm not sure why China would want to nuke Japan back to the Shogun age. No doubt they could since they have nukes and Japan doesn't. But Japan does have a bit of military clout floating around, so they might be able to conduct some sort of inconvenient retaliation.

Since Saddam was at war with the USA, it's not surprising that he was trying to attack Americans and he did say [reportedly] that while he had nothing to do with the 911 attacks, he had some sympathy with them. So I can see that my suggestion isn't likely to be taken seriously by many people. But it would be fun to see him back in his palace and leave the Iraqi jihadists to deal with that little fact. If they think the USA is bad, wait until they have to deal with him again - no mucking about with water-boarding and "stress positions". Nudity and female taunts would be trivial compared with his untender treatment. The electrodes might not be fake.
