I think Bush went into Iraq because he felt the US needed to teach Islam a lesson. He had a choice of Iran or Iraq. He picked wrong. I think he picked Iraq because of the manipulations of France and Russia, he would have been better doing a reagan on both of them. A simple no French products to the US, or better the concentration of the US to support it's own wine industry by only serving US Wine at any government function at any level would have taught the French a huge lesson. And moving the UN to jerusalem should be on the table as well.
