I think you're asking the right questions. Nuking the place is not an answer. Maybe if they keep attacking the Russians and Europeons, they may FINALLY wake up to the danger. Or they could kill the Pope as they have threatened. Either way, we get many nations as allies. Suddenly the odds change. It's no lnger 300M to 1.6 billion, but maybe a billion to 1.6 billion. With the technological superiority of the West, I think they can be convinced that supporting or remaining silent about the radicals among them is no longer an option- -and the radicals are in more danger than them. Then the radicals may be conc=vinced that they have no choice but to quit. Even if they die, they accomplish nothing.
