Thanks for the tip. I printed out a map & description I found of the Kangamangus Highway. We planned to take Route 2 most of the way from the Adirondacks, with a trip north up 26 just as we get near Maine. The Kangamangus Highway sounds just like what we planned on doing on this vacation. We may have to adjust it if time permits.

I hope we get to see fall foliage, but it seems we may be a week too early for prime colors. Maybe we will get lucky.
