Comedy of the absurd! I've never encountered a bigger batch of crooks from the get-go be it slamming your phone service to different providers against your wishes to selling cell phone service where you can't get a straight answer if service quality is good where you need the phone or how much the damned phone bill is. I heard a story where someone had their phone stolen on while on vacation and by the time they got home they had a $30,000 bill the phone company was too stupid to verify the person who normally doesn't go over was making the calls... or too smart since they demanded the person with the stolen phone pay the bill... I think they are loose by design so they can overcharge and have enough dumb customers pay the bill rather than fight them up the chain of command for refunds. Ebbers is in jail... and I'd be happy if more at the top who make some of these decisions joined him.
