As i recall the IRA terrorists were not murdering in the name of some make believe god but for land and the right to govern this land without interference from the Brits The dispute was between and is between the protestants and the Catholics. The Catholics don't want to live under protestant rule so they want to join the rest of ireland, and the protestants don't want to join the rest of Ireland and have no voice. So they were killing each other in hopes of getting their own way. A dismal dispute over the same dismal problem. My Gd is better than your Gd cause your G*d sux.
