Yeah, and drinking water and spitting out pig shit or sifting undigested kernels of corn from human excrement and then boiling and eating them are not options either, are they? But those things are sometimes the best choices available.

I note that all of you true believers who so smugly denied the rising Iraqi insurgency and dismissed out of hand the possibility that we could be forced out of Iraq are now recognizing that "failure" IS an option. That's why you're so desperately searching for ways to lay the blame on "liberal" scapegoats. You'd better hope that a democrat gets elected in 08 or one of your "good men" may have to swallow that bitter pill himself. Who would you blame then?

It's surprising how so many things that aren't an "option" become necessities when reality takes a fatal bite out of complacency. Ed
