I've heard of it, but I didn't recall that it was actually affordable. Matlab also has a NN add-on (not very affordable). However, there is a learning curve to all these things, and I already have my own NN with my own source code, as well as over 36 (small) supporting programs. My foundation is a set of basic indicators that I developed over five years ago, so there's one custom element in the mix just to start off with. Add to that the massive amount of data management (I have my own securities database, among other things) and process flow coordination that I already have or am working on, and I'll bet that Neural Trader is missing at least a few things essential to what I'm already doing. Much of what I need to do from here on out is process development, with an occasional programming task or theoretical issue to resolve thrown in for good measure.

In the end, the neural network training program is just a drop in the bucket. All of the real work takes place during selection, packaging, and interpretation of the data.

But thanks for links.

And don't be bothered that I'm still "keeping it under wraps". An egg with the wraps off is just a messy mass of egg whites and a yolk, or worse yet, an incompletely-formed (and dead) bird. :-)
