Yeah, the males dont put up with much, Paddy bit me once and only once. I was grooming him and pulled to hard on some thatched hair, he spun and nipped me good, I hit him so hard with a right cross right to his face that he must have seen stars. Now, he knows better. Incidentally, I have an animal behaviour book that says the soft coated wheaten terrier is more ATTUNED to a human being then any other animal on earth, including the apes. Thats why they MUST live in the home with you. Cant keep them outside in a dog house, they'd die. jdn
