my long term thesis on energy stocks is eventually they get the respect that has been bestowed upon tech stocks these last 12 years.

Energy will eventually replace financials in the S&P as the #1 sector.

The question is:
Will that happen because financials and tech drop off the cliff, or will it be because energies rise, or some sort of combbination?

Wyatt, haven't crack spreads been crushed over the past several weeks as unleaded gas prices declined far more than oil?

What do you think that will do to the refiner's earnings?

Maybe an earnings miss and another opportunity to load up on a sell-off?
