Just ask Charles Rangel, the man who would write tax law as House Ways & Means Committee chairman under a Democrat majority. When it comes to raising your taxes in 2007, Rangel just this week said "Everything has to be on the table." Here's how the National Journal reported it: "Asked whether tax increases across the spectrum would be considered, [Rangel] replied, 'No question about it.'" Just when you thought across-the-board tax increases were a thing of the past - a relic of the Clinton era - one of the most powerful Democrats lays it all out for us: if Democrats are allowed to take control, they will raise your taxes - and everyone else's.
