Thanks for pointing out that poll to me, I did some more googling about, and see that there were similar results in a poll conducted by the State Department, "Iraq Civil War Fears Remain High in Sunni and Mixed Areas," which was apparently leaked to the Washington Post but not available in its entirety.

Well, if they want us to leave, we should leave, I agree. After all, it is their country, and we've always said we'd leave when they were ready for us to leave.

I will say this -- human nature being what it is, you'd have better luck persuading men and women in the government to leave Iraq if you didn't continually present it as "losing the war."

But I fear this advice will be lost on you and people like you.

You'd rather be "right" than effective, confrontational rather than persuasive, vinegar instead of honey.
