Did you hear about Foley of FLA resigning....he was writing emails to underage boys and was also tming them, some of which was illicit. Here's an example of one: "ABC News reported Friday that Foley participated in sexually explicit instant messages with teenage male pages. In one exchange, Foley wrote: "Do I make you a little horny?" In another, he wrote, "You in your boxers, too? . . . Well, strip down and get naked."" Apparently, Hastert knew at least since last April. He should have notified Pelosi but didn't. According to the blogs, he's toast. Foley of course has resigned. Was this the way it was during the long decline of the Roman Empire.......I think so. "Pelosi, furious that the Democratic leadership were not informed of the situation for nearly an entire year after the emails were discovered, has already demanded and gotten a House Ethics investigation -- her resolution passed the House 410 to zero. The House committee on Official Conduct now has ten days to issue a preliminary report on what the Republican leadership knew, when they knew it, and what they did or didn't do about it."
