I too remember my grandmother and mother hanging out the laundry because they didn't have a dryer. I don't remember how they washed the laundry, but I don't imagine it was much fun. We all take so much for granted. I worry allot about what would happen to Americans if the oil supplies became scarce? How many people give have given any thought to it or let alone prepared for that possibility? I worry about that allot and have taken some measures to protect ourselves. I am in the market for a small car that we could use in the event that fuel prices go really high. It sounds like you had a great day. We were up in that area yesterday and I forget how different and beautiful it is. There seems to be much more deciduous trees, and with the changes of fall coming it is just a lovely area. Glad you got a chance to get out and enjoy it. ;)
