And in light of what you wrote, we wonder why the US military has been unsuccessful in "spreading democracy in Iraq". We wonder why the US military has not yet been greeted with "flowers and chocolates" on the streets in Iraq. We wonder why the most powerful man on Earth, the US President, has to steal into Iraq under cover of darkness instead of being welcomed with a red carpet and 21-gun salute. We wonder why there are rumblings in the WH about the need for Malliki to go especially after he visits Iran on the heels of being given a red carpet welcome by the US Congress when he visited the US. Where do we see "we are winning in Iraq and hence winning against terrorism". Why are the George W Bush thread cronies hiding?
