I got the same kind of canoe Smithee got, in 1970 for $150, and I still have it. I wouldn't rent. The satisfaction of having my own canoe is well worth the cost.

Yeah, but my canoe is prettier than yours. It doesn't have the multi-color paint job. <ggg>

I just ordered plans for a sail rig for it.
