Actually I have a good opinion of you. I think you like AMD because it is the underdog who made good. And you stick up for them. So that's a great trait. I am sure your friends appreciate that.

But a lot of what you post regarding technical advantages of AMD chips is just part of a tradeoff. Virtues of memory controller on-board, or on a chipset can be debated, but it looks like each company has managed to get good performance from their design. It is just pointless to keep rehashing its virtues in the absence of stating the entire tradeoff balance. And this business of denigrating Intel because its quad-core doesn't fit someone's definition of a "true quad-core". Who cares! You might have a case if you went on to say, "and therefor systems based on it will perform poorly, and no one will buy them." But can you make that case ? Your points just come up in the air, and the reader thinks "so what?".
