It really was strange how it all came about. I saw one wild turkey driving to the family center, so I parked and started a sort of gobble gobble, only more turkeyish...and soon all the turkeys came running. It was hysterical..

I talked to the forester in charge of the whole area, and ask him if these turkeys were tame and if they came when they were called. He looked at me as if I had two heads and said, "They are wild, and won't come to "here turkey, here turkey"

I explained how they came to me, and he thought I'd started hitting the tea a little early in the day, so I took him to the spot I'd seen the turkeys and did my call...they came running.
He thought it was the funniest thing he'd seen. He honestly couldn't believe it. He told everyone about it and then they all wanted to see my trick...
