Issac has passed off the central atlantic loop that I watch and with its passing, the month of September has now passed into history. The NE caribbean remains calm this morning as it has been for weeks. The alley for the Cape Verde storms remains empty of trouble. This is a remarkable turn of events after the last two hurricane seasons. I am hoping for an early signal to the ending of the Cape Verde season but don't know what to look for yet. This has certainly been the year of the shear. I am pleased and ready to pursue some golf, but first I need to go back to the lake to do some brushing and cutting of firewood. Life is good.
