Foley only resigned a year after Hastert and the GOP congress knew full well what he was doing to the teenagers on the Hill. He resigned only because his crimes were outed in the press. But if Hastert had had any ethics, he would have oustsed him a year ago, and that goes for all the other corrupt congressmen on the rightwing too. So why did Hastert cover up instead? Because he's guilty too, along with Delay, Cunningham, Lewis, Doolittle, Ney, Pombo, on and on and on. Almost all the corruption in DC now is concentrated on the rightwing. And it's deeply infected the White House too. In fact corrupt bastards like Karl Rove lead by example. He and Delay were two criminal peas in the same pod.
