I suggest you acquaint yourself with his history before stoning him. "He who ia without out sin, let him cast the first stone." OTOH, there are points he and I will never agree on. I am an atheist and I am absolutely pro-choice. Period. I know the arguments on his side; I am still pro-choice and expect to remain so. But this disagreement does not by any means mean I consider him a bad person; the opposite in fact. I will testify to ManyMoose's knowledge of Nature; he has demonstrated it many times. And he is a professional in it, not a dilettante. Your claiming to know more tham he is like your claiming to know more of electronics engineering or software than I; I made my living off that knowledge and the ability to apply it for decades. Those employers didn't pay me out if philanthropy. And if you reference to "shut-ins" was to me, I suggest you check my history too. Holly is most familiar with it; she refers to me as "Indiana Jones", a bit of hyperbole, I'd say. OTOH, our vacations don't consist of lying on a beach or around a pool. The last took us to Turkey, including eastern Turkey, which is primitive by any standard. Still, there was archaeological site (Hattussas, the ancient capital of the Hittite Empire, near the modern town of Boghazkoy) there that I was determined to see and see it we did. I also picked up a fascinating skin infection there. Our pulmonologist had prescribed some antibiotics for us in case of lung infections brought on by asthma (mild, in my case). One of them was pretty new and I figured (correctly) that bugs out there had never seen it. It withered before the onslaught, leaving an ugly scab behind, but dying none the less. We also saw Troy, probably the most famous archaeological site in the world, on that trip. The next trip will be to Yucatan looking for some sites I'm sure you've never heard of. I will have a GPS tracker with us so we can at least get back out of the bush again. Wanna come. :-) (You'd better make sure you're in d****ed good shape before saying yes; we have already started getting in shape for this one, and will continue to do soo until we leave. And make sure your vaccinations are up to date.)
