No. I think that we should not take one piece of bad "scientific evidence" and destroy the global economy without examining the issue more thoroughly. If you care to do some reading you will find that 100% of the global warming "proof" relies on the rings of a single tree. It has been debunked, but the people who hold the purse strings of public funding subscribe to the GW religion, thus mercilessly enforce its upholding in funding "research".

I think that once evidence is refuted, it should be central to the debate whenever it is used as evidence. Almost all GW cult science rests on Mann's refuted work. That doesn't seem to bother any of the GW cult members.
