JDN, You have really done your research. There were a lot of Spanish sailors that ended up in Ireland after the ramada was nearly destroyed, and it makes sense that they would want to have their dogs with them when they got to the northern shores of Ireland. A lot of people don't know that the term "black Irish" pertains to those that have Spanish blood, along with the Irish, and have dark hair, but usually have blue eyes. I, personally, do not like what people, mainly Americans, have done to dogs for the sole reason of wanting to get trophies earned by the dogs. It kind of prevents a dog from being a dawg. ;^)
