98% of the corruption is on the GOP rightwing.

This week we found out that crooked pork-dealer Abramoff was in the White House 450 times. He had full access anytime he and his people wanted, including a dozen meetings with Roev, who is "Bush's brain" and a very corupt man himself who was deeply in with Enron, as was Bush himself. CHeney and Halliburton of course cost US taxpayers at least a billion dollars. Probably a lot more.

Jefferson is a lone wolf who acted alone, and who's sleazy $90,000 bribe was actually small stuff compared to the hundreds of billions in pork barrel spending corruption going on at the top of the GOP congress. Tom DElay led by example and the others followed. Every single one of delay's followers is and was deeply corrupt, and Frist isn't much better.

Also, DEms immediately banished Jefferson. Why hasn't the GOP leadership crakced down on its corrupt members? Because the leaders themselves are corrupt. HAstert, Frist, Delay, Blunt all of them.
