Turkey is working hard to become a EU member, and they are actually doing very well, reforming legal systems, etc,etc as well as their kurdish problem (and getting increased subsidies, investments, along the way, proportionally)

Even Ocalan made some public statments just the other week..

Debka is full of the regular stuff as always.. but clearly representing a problem in the kurdish areas..

Btw, the "kurdish oil dream" in Iraq has one serious oil problem, it containes the only oil wells that are about to run dry.

That is, not even USA will do very much to "help" them..

What is worse, the pipes might go north into EU-land..
(no wonder Iraq was such an urgent matter.. but Iran and the Shia...ouch...ouch... and then the sunnis...ouch..ouch.. partition-partition-partition...Bush-Bush-Bush..)
