Actually, there's no reason why a large company can't do business as multiple small companies. That's why there are things such as divisions and departments.

Who runs a large organization as one solid entity?

There's a great deal of hanky panky in 'business units' and the like so there's a recognition that smaller is better and that even divisions of the same corporation have to 'buy' services and products from other divisions...hence we have things like transfer pricing...and lots of hanky panky there.

You lack creativity in this area Mauriceq. You think in terms of what has come before and not for what is coming in the future.

Democracy distributes power much more so than, say, dictatorships. This is considered a GOOD THING. So take the idea another step and distribute power in other human ventures as well.
