According to Wikipedia, "In 2006, Kennedy released a children's book My Senator and Me: A Dog's-Eye View of Washington, D.C. [2] In the tone of Barbara Bush's tome Millie's Book, the narrator is Kennedy's Portuguese Water Dog, Splash." So he named his dog Splash? It's too good. Has that been noted here? How could he not think...and if he did and still choose it...arggggh...hard to imagine. A symbol of his success? Is that arrogant? Insensitive to a serious matter? Inquiring minds want to know. Dan B.
