Reason to hate the NFL

Penalties for simply hitting too hard. Let's face it, Bengals safety Kevin Kaesviharn didn't spear Reche Caldwell and was clearly making a play on a receiver attempting to make a catch. This has to be a legal play. When a receiver goes over the middle, he is — by definition — defenseless. This is what makes going over the middle risky. Chuck Cecil wouldn't last a month in today's NFL.
