I think the Pope should apologise right after the Imans of the Arab Nations kneel in front of the site of the two towers and abjectly apologise for Islam.

islam will never accept an apology. It will only embolden them to commit more atrocities because of the fact that they made a great man bow to them. There will be an attempt on the Pope's life either way.
