One possible scenario is that there could be another postponement of a decision, based upon the fact that settlement discussions are ongoing for a "worldwide resolution" back in San Diego.

In fact, a probability IMO. It would be surprising if the ITC judge did not somehow get wind of the SD magistrate's order. He is no doubt glad not to have to read the briefs and the findings of fact for the time being.
