The way I see it Iraq is one confused mess. Sure no one wants to admit it but we are losing. But what do you expect - you cannot force foreign values down the throat of a people by the point of a gun. Think about it - turn it around and think how willing you would be to adopt Muslim values by force? Not in a million years. We are taking our Israeli supporting, Christian values and trying to impose them on a Muslim, Israeli hating nation. Gee I wonder why it isn’t working. Bush’s assumption was that the troops would be greeted with flowers – when that didn’t happen he simply was in over his ordinary head. So Bush is simply wasting lives and money in Iraq and only digging a deeper hole to try to get out of.
