Woodward reports Murtha and General Abezeid (sp?) the top general in Iraq met a year or two ago and the General admitted that he agreed with Murtha. That we need to get out.

But Generals are not allowed to contradict the commander in chief until they retire, and Bush is unfortunately in a total state of denial and refuses to accept the reality that his very costly war has completely failed and is gradually reducing the US military and treasury to tatters. It's also helping terrorism immensely. Rumsfeld and cheney are just as bad as Bush so nothing ever changes.

Forget Bush. He's a goner anyway. Time to get out and let the Iraqis deal with it. They supposedly have 300,000 soldiers. So let them fight for their own country for a change. Bush promised we were going to "stand down" but lied about that too. Bush is a big fat liar and a total failure as commander in chief. He's also presided over the most corrupt and incompetent government we have ever had and has cheated to steal/win every election.
