Gus > We propose that France create a consortium for the production in Iran of enriched uranium," Mohammad Saeedi, deputy chief of Iran's Atomic Energy Agency, told France-Info radio.

Quite clever. The big attraction about this plan for the Iranians is that the enrichment takes place in Iran and not in a foreign country. This way France can be held responsible for the enrichment but Iran does what it likes with the finished product because it's on Iranian soil -- or, should I say, a quarter of a mile beneath it.

I can tell you already that the plan won't wash with USrael.
