My mother turned 88 next month. I'm 62. There's no doubt in my mind she will buy my lunch when I turn 70.

You are fortunate to maintain a great relationship with your mother for this long. My uncle did not speak with his mother for the last fifteen years of their lives. (He died about a year after her.)
