That happens so often. My dad basically died the day my mother did...towards the end, he had Alzheimer's, and she had terrible arthritis, so she was the brains, and he was the braun...he couldn't function without her, and died about five months later.

Your mother must have gained some purpose to her life, or she would have given up long ago. I suspect that her health is a testament to your dedication.
