Come on Pro...stop drinkin' the kool-aid and realize that THIS time the republicans screwed up big time. Something has to give, and soon.

If Foley was "known to be gay" by so many people, why did the republican leadership even let him chair that sub-committee on kids? I mean, this sounds like the mayor of Spokane, Washington...gay and trolling but being the most anti-gay guy in public you could want.

If the republicans knew he was gay...what does it tell us about their actual attitude toward gays? That it is fine to be gay as long as you don't talk about it? And, we, the leadership of the republican party, will actually appoint you to chair a sub-committee that COULD tend to hide your sexual orientation...and we will allow you to make all kinds of public statements about sexual problems...and we, the leadship, will just be quiet during the whole thing.

Principled, indeed. Throw em all out.

Pro...its not ALL political. The republicans did this to themselves.
