I heard, with my own ears, on NPR, Woodward saying what I quoted him as saying, and if you don't believe me, you can listen for yourself.

The part I am talking about centers in the interview around the time he says that it's not unusual for people to have different perceptions of what was said at meetings, or what was meant.

That's also the time that he says that Rice said what I just said in my last post, and that it's consistent with what she's been saying, and he doesn't disagree with her.

So if you're going to stick with Woodward, stick with him all the way, instead of picking and choosing the bits you like.
