More Bushie lies. Clarke's old job and his entire anti Al Qaida operation was disbanded by Bush when he came into power. Clarke was bitterly disappointed and concerned. He wanted to continue fighting Al Qaida elsewhere but no such job existed anymore so he grudgingly accepted cyber security instead. The clear fact is that Bush and all his people were completely AWOL on terrorism before 9-11. Clarke confirmed that during the 9-11 hearings, and Rice has been unable to come up with a single excample of anything they did to counter Al Qaida. That included no retaliation whatsoever for the USS Cole and even calling the FBI off Saudis in the US, including the 9-11 hijackers. You simply can't argue against this. Bushies let 9-11 happen. And Clinton had nothing to do with it.
