a) Hindsight is always "reliable."

b) The Democrat party platform caters to the lower middle class. Like I said before, "Either you can afford to be a Democrat, or you can't afford to be anything but a Democrat."

c) The "red states" tend to be poorer than the "blue states." Let's not forget that a lot of wealth in this nation is centered around "blue areas" like San Francisco, Manhattan, and Los Angeles.
