Probably some bank management's interpretation of the guidance will come out on conference calls after quarterly earnings.

Maybe the MBA data will tell us something about the guidance (not this week since the report is for applications pre-guidance). Maybe next week ...

The MBA number is applications. What we should see is that the number has less meaning because some of those making the applications will be turned down as opposed to the last few years when any one could get a mortgage for nearly any amount with nothing down.
