Actually women molest children too, though much more rarely. I'm sure you've read about the teachers who've had sex with their students. It's much more rare to have women sexual molesters, of course- women are much more likely to be criminals guilty of neglect or physical abuse, than they are to be guilty of sexual abuse, and a great deal of the neglect and physical abuse is because women are primary care givers. Men are, I think, more prone to be physically abusive with children, but they have much more limited contact- since in our society it's mostly mothers who bear the brunt of child rearing.
