It's amazing that a lot of sexual abuse cases could really have the abusing parent be branded a pedophile..

I have had female student abused by their mother...

I have had male and female abused by their father.

In all cases these have been at a time when the child was anywhere from 8 to 14....

Yet all that is attached to what has happened is sexual abuse.
These are certainly not homosexuals but cases of pedophilia.

Very few conservatives think "gays are pedophiles". Some might think that "gay = more likely to be a pedophile", but that is a quite different belief.
