Hi Ron,

It has been an annual event in precious metals to have a "way overdone" decline when the bargains just keep getting better. I never play it perfectly, but have begun my long, slow accumulation. I sold everything last April... too early, but does it matter now?

IMO, there is no fundamental "reason" for it... just trading. I use the technicals to play it. This is my 8th year going through this and it feels pretty much the same each year. I just try to use it to my advantage and expect that most every stock in the sector will have bottomed by the end of the year (don't forget tax-loss selling which further depresses the best bargains and biggest disappointments in December), BWDIK. No guarantees, but the other typically annual event is a big rally which I expect to last from November or December or January through May or June. We'll see.

Good luck,

vt

OT ..."Sooooo, in the meantime, what do we do to make money???"...Damn, this is brutal.

Not really...
Don't feel so bad about financial losses.

Shooting many & killing 5 young Amish females tied together facing a blackboard....
Now that is brutal!

Forever burned into my cranial hard-drive, right next to the 9/11/01 file.

However as for financial advice;
Call me a conservative liberal... I believe CASH IS KING!!!
